We offer water sports (Aqua Park, Paddleboards, Water Bikes, Kids Paddle Boats and Pedalos) from May – September. We are also a fabulous venue open annually catering for elegant weddings and corporate events, special celebrations and more casual gatherings for clubs or school functions. With a choice of Marquee, Beach Bar or Bar & Grill our multi-functional venues are a popular choice for hosting events of all kinds.
Our Bar & Grill located upstairs in the main clubhouse serves hot food, alcohol plus hot and cold drinks from 10.30-5pm. This venue is also ideal in the evening for private parties, conferences, and any special occasion, and benefits from an ample balcony overlooking the lake with a capacity of 150 persons. Our Beach Bar located outside overlooking the lake, is decorated in a ‘Tiki’ style with palm roof, wooden benches, and palm parasols. Serving alcohol, soft drinks, and cocktails, ideal location for larger parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, and ticketed events up to 500 persons. Also, our beautiful wisteria Marquee offers a versatile and elegant setting for any event. With its beautiful decorations, lighting, and spacious layout, it is perfect for weddings, conferences, proms, presentations, and any special occasion up to 300 persons standing and 150 seated. All venues are available to book all year round and close at 1am.
6 days per week, closed Tuesday and open from 10.30am – 5pm subject to change due to weather conditions and private events. Venue hire is available annually with a licence until 1am.
Yes, we ask that arrival is 30 minutes prior in order to avoid delay at reception.
Yes, everyone doing an activity should do this online prior to arrival otherwise you will be delayed at check in.
For health and safety reasons the beach and water will be unavailable after the Lifeguards have left the premises.
YES, everyone must be a competent swimmer and you are signing a waiver to confirm this.
Yes, we have two large carparks, and they are both free of charge with security back check upon arrival.
No, we provide food and drink on site from our Bar & Grill, Beach Bar & Snack Shack, so please respect this.
No, but there are locations close to the centre.
Yes, we have large changing rooms, toilets, disabled toilets, baby changing facilities in our Ladies changing room and Beach Bar disabled toilet , plus a few hot showers available for both ladies and men’s changing rooms.
Yes, but these are subject to availability and require a lock. These can be purchased at reception or bring your own.
We require 48 hours’ notice to move a water sport booking or receive a refund.
Yes, but only within the designated swimming area and subject to a Lifeguard being on duty. Please note the beach area will close after Lifeguards have finished.
This will change daily due to weather conditions, but we do test the temperature every morning and update the notice in reception which can be viewed upon arrival.
We maintain the lake during the season and add weed control products to keep any weed to a minimum. The water is also tested regularly to maintain a safe water quality.
The lake is varying depths with deep channels but also has shallow areas. Our Lifeguard will inform you of these depths during the safety briefing so please listen and take note.
Yes, there are fish in the lake, but they generally stay away and will not go near you.
Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed but must be always on a lead and mess cleared and disposed of by the owner.
Yes, we have disabled toilets in the Ladies changing room & Beach Bar and a designated parking area visible upon arrival to the centre.
